It works in the middle of the ocean.
Ship wifi is expensive and bad. Cards are built on your phone with no connection at all, so the formal night photo becomes a card at sea and nothing uploads until you are back on land.
Offline by design, not by accident.
The Studio runs on the device. No signal is needed to make a card, name it, number it or save it to your phone.
The ship is the stamp.
The serial carries the ship instead of a town, so the card says exactly which vessel and which sailing it came from.
A card per cabin, per table, per night.
Dinner table groups swap them the way people already swap ship cards, except these carry your own photograph.
Questions people ask
- Does this work without wifi?
- Yes. Making, numbering and saving all happen on the device. Sharing needs a connection, which you can do back in port.
- Will it use my data plan at sea?
- Not while you are making cards. Nothing leaves the phone until you deliberately share one.
- Can I put the ship's name on it?
- Yes. The ship goes into the serial and onto the card back.
